I hope you had a nice Christmas Holiday. I did, in fact I flew home to Florida for the Holiday & was able to spend quality time with friends & family. I had an a amazing time. I have been quite busy, traveling home, in addition to that I had FINALS in school. I am very happy about my success this semester in college. I received (2) B's (1) B (1) B+ and
unfortunately a D. The D was in Music, I feel the teacher was very horrible with teaching the subject. I thought I was going to receive an F, I was very surprised when I saw that D. She has only been teaching one year. Her material was all out of wack, I myself am not the only student who had trouble in her class. I feel good about the fact that I am smart enough to receive B averages in all the other four classes, with the fact that I have been out of for four years. So high five to me whatever. No school until Jan 31, 2011. Niiiice

Well in other news I am now a cocktail waitress at a bar in Harlem. I absolutely love it, I only work on weekends. I am the only girl & they love me, told me I was doing very good my first night for me to have NO NYC experience. :o) In fact I am working for NYE, at the lounge. I don't have a problem with it, I didn't have plans to watch the ball drop or go to a club or anything like that, the tickets to some clubs I checked out are like $150. I don't mind going to work, making money while others are spending it also drinking for free & dressing up!!!! Plus I am still in NYC no matter what I am grateful for that!

While down South for Christmas I missed the snow blizzard here & nothing happened to my flight on the way back to Brooklyn incase you were wondering. I did manage to get to see some snow when I came back on the 29th. It is crazy looking here snow piled up all on the sides of the roads. Then some roads have yet to have been plowed. Insane shit.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!

First let me say I am so excited that I was able to attend this spectacular event this was absolutely amazing! I grew up watching it on TV all my life on Thanksgiving Day. This year for Thanksgiving it was my first time in my 22 years of living that I spent this day AWAY from my family, I thought it would be tough but it actually wasn't so bad. The day before Thanksgiving I went to club Tenjune & The Cellar Bar @ The Bryant Park Hotel, when I left the club me & my roommate went home ate breakfast, showered, dressed warmer & headed to the parade NO SLEEP. We left Brooklyn for the parade at about 6:30AM, we went down by Columbus Circle, then found the most amazing spot to view the parade, 65th & Central Park West. We were RIGHT IN THE FRONT. It was like 42 degrees the whole time. We got there at about 7:40AM and patiently waited for the parade to start at 9AM, my family down in FL watched the parade on TV. Then it started I took 400+ photos. It lasted until like 11:40AM. I would totally do it again, it wasn't as bad as most people said it would be. Here are some of the photos I took enjoy...

As my room mate and I were leaving club Tenjune on Wednesday night in the Meat Packing District all tipsy and full of laughter we came across something that made us stop in our tracks. The official Christian Louboutin boutique!! In this beautiful boutique were shoes for days all different styles, all different size heels, from boots to flats to peep toe to pumps to platform pumps to shoes with laces just so amazing to say the least! This video is very beautiful in my opinion, I think the chemistry between the two makes the whole video GLOW! Rihanna's wardrobe is very island-ish, me likey likey. The biggest bonus, is that this was partially filmed in NEW YORK CITY! I can definitely obsess over this, now that I live in Brooklyn.

She actually performed for free last night in Times Square. I had class and we were discussing the final exam so I had to pass :o[ I'll see her again one day probably walking down the street in Brooklyn or something random like that.

This is my first winter in NYC. I am okay so far the lowest I've felt was about 35-37 degrees. I don't have a heater yet, and it will be so expensive to have the heat on in the apartment. So at night I am just bundling up until it gets colder. I had midterms in school for the last 2 weeks, I did very well on all except one, and thank God the lowest grade in that class gets dropped. Soon it will be time to register for winter classes. Very excited about that since acting will take place within the classes. Still no work with the acting, I won't give up though, just patient and grind. Some guys have been inviting me and my roomie and our homegirls out to some clubs lately.

Uh Tenjune, Highline Ballroom, and Marquee those are the names. Highline is very nice I love it, well all 3 are nice but so far Highline is my fav I visited the club last night for the second time last night. Halloween here was BANANAS. Very fun, I did not take many photos, just a few sorry. I went to the parade in west village which was a zoo. I have never seen so many people in my life. I hardly got to view the parade, the NYPD had that shit all over the place, I cussed one of their asses out. She put up a barricade in the front of where I was walking and would not let me pass to reach my roomie. I was so pissed! & she had an attitude so I had to put that southern hospitality on her ass!!! The subway was so crowded that shit looked so dangerous, folks was yelling and shit "if any of you muthafuckas hit my child I'm gonna fuck you up" was what one man was saying. Ain't no way in HELL I would ever take my kid to that shit. I will NOT be doing that next year unless I am in someone's apartment or office with view of the parade from the window. I went to a bar in Manhattan for the FLA/GA game where tons of FLA alumni were it was amazing! Plus FLA won :D Oh in my speech class I had a speech to deliver about a special person, so I chose Chris Brown, and I got an A on it! Hahahahahah go figure of course I did. Thanksgiving will be here before I know it, I will be spending it here, first one ever away from my family. I shall tough it out, I have a guest supposedly coming into town so I will either spending it with the family she has here or some family that I have here who I have yet to ever meet. We shall see.

Been in NYC. I must say it has been filled with adventures!!! I have truly enjoyed my time here thus-far. Right now I am waiting for my class to start later. Art that is. This week I've had 2 mid terms one in English another in Speech. I finished them both early and feel confident in my success with passing them. Last night the Jacksonville Jaguars played the Tennessee Titans in football of course I had to support my team, so my roommate who is also from Jacksonville and I went to a local bar to watch the game. I found one from the NYC SCOPE app from the NY Times. It was called Black Swan in Brooklyn. Very very stylish place. I absolutely loved the scene, dark, cozy, good music, nice bartender, good food and of course GREAT beer. Unfortunately the Jaguars lost :( it's okay though better days we shall see. This past weekend...

I went and got my hair done over. A sew-in by a Mexican! She did the damn thing though. My roommate and I also hung out alllllll day Sunday it was a real adventure from IKEA to Target we were out all day from that. Then later that night my roommate made spaghetti the pasta took 30-40 min to boil because the fire on the particular stove didn't get hot enough. So I stepped in and moved it to a different eye with hotter fire LOL it was ridiculous. Photos to come....

Last week I went to an audition which is my 3rd one since I've moved here. It went okay, I guess. I look forward to updating my portfolio with new headshots within the next month. I am looking for a NYC photographer who won't know my head off with their prices. Then the next time Victor is in NYC I will get him to do my make-up and set up a photo shoot. FUN!

Halloween will be here soon and it will be my first one in NYC. I am truly looking forward to that HUGE event. I plan to dress as Cat Woman, Julie Newmar inspired. I can't do the Halle Berry one because my hair is to long for the full head cover with the cat ears. :) I will make it work though no worries. I can't wait!

The weather here is starting to be very COLD. It gets in the 40-50's and the wind blows 15-25 mph. Let me say I am definitely not ready for this shit. I know it's only get colder which is hard for me to fathom mentally. Poor me right? Time flies since I've moved here, everything is so FAST, like zoom zoom zoom. I am adjusting though. I really miss my mom's cooking. I look forward to going home for Christmas. I will be here for Thanksgiving though. Come to find out I have family here, so I will contact them and visit them soon cool right?

I keep my eye open here on the fashion/accessories some things that I've seen ALOT of people wearing are Hunter weather boots...

In every color too, they are good for both rain/cold weather and can be worn with these fleece welly socks for cold weather. Also these all purpose Longchamp Le Pliage totes...

which of course is a great buy because walking everywhere you need a reliable tote. A lot of folks are seen with these 2!!! I will continue to keep an eye out and share more things with you.

Oh in other news; MTA which is my source of transportation will raise it's prices in 2011. It will go up by $15 (a 30-day pass), I guess that is a lot of money. I don't really know how to feel about it since I have only been here for like 2 months. I am for damn sure the natives are pissed though. Read an article on it here.

2 weeks before her wedding day...

While at work one day a woman came in my job & told me a story about her life while I assisted her. It went something like this: she had been engaged to her fiancé for about year & they were dating for 4+ years. The wedding was scheduled to be done last month but 2 weeks before the wedding day the worst thing in my opinion that you could imagine happened to this beautiful tall foreign women. Her fiancé told her "give me my ring back, I don't want to get married & I have a girlfriend." When she told me that my eyes instantly watered up. I got goose bumps all of a sudden & I just felt so sorry for this woman. She told me that he gave her large amount of money & he went on about his life. This December she will move back to her country after she gets her degree in school. I did encourage her to stay strong & to keep her head up. Told her that she is a beautiful woman & one day love will come her way again.

You guys already know how I feel about life love & relationships. My thing is this how would you be about to move on mentally if such thing were to happen to you? Well I have never been engaged on the verge of being engaged or anything of that nature. I do however know how it feels to love someone so much that you'd give your last breath to be with them. It was a phase that I went through in life in addition a good experience for me. You live & you learn in life right? Feeling that way about a person can carry such a strong weight & to get shot down by that SAME person is such a horrible feeling. It can make you have a whole different outlook on love and can change the way you navigate in life. Making you sour towards other people that want to be in potential relationships with you.

4 years is a long time to be with someone putting your trust into them, giving all of yourself to that person just all things that you give someone who you love. Then one day for them to just leave is like a massacre. I am sure there are more major things in life to be upset about but for me this is a touchy subject. I don't understand why someone would want to make leaving you so horrible, it is already bad that their deciding to let things go, but to end it with cheating or end it right before a wedding day or end it with getting someone else pregnant is so inconsiderate to me! Its like did you even ever love me? What would cause someone to hurt you that way? I guess this thing called love is truly a gamble.

That is the time frame I have been in NYC. Some great things have happened. I am very excited to be living here. People ask me all the time "How is it?" I simply respond with a "So far so good" which it really is, although that response is so short, it is sweet & very meaningful.

This weekend my first official visitor came from my hometown to see me. Which was very cool to me I enjoyed his company. :o] This weekend we went to see The Town which was sooooo good!! I really fly movie Ben Affleck did a wonderful job directing it. It was 2 hours long & the theater had us as frozen as popsicles! Last night I went to a club called Taj we had so much fun there was a fashion show there & really good music!

It was very live a lot of people were there dancing their lives away. I wore a grey sweetheart dress with a black blazer ankle boots & a fedora. I received a lot of compliments on my hat! Also met a few cool folks. Enjoyed myself.

School is going just fine. I got a great grade on a paper I wrote for English. Also I gave my first speech which was followed by a round of applaud! It was about an item I had to bring in kind of like a show n tell kind of deal, I took in my Oscar inspired trophy & spoke on it, talked about my goal of acting.

Friday night my homegirl had a birthday party at her father's lounge, it was cool I drank for free which is always a plus ;o] also sung a little karaoke 'Me myself & I' by Beyonce a good laugh for me.

I met up with a Talent agency gave my headshot & resume also did a small audition for him! So I am looking forward to work that he will have for me. In the mean time I am going to look for auditions in the Time Out magazine & different useful websites. I do not want to get comfortable I am hungry to act. So what ever it takes I know I must do it.

Fashion Night Out was Sept 10, 2010 It was absolutely amazing something like I have seen before. I fucking saw Halle Berry in the Polo mansion store I went to get an autograph from her but she ran out of time so as she was leaving to go down the stairs I screamed out loud Halle Berry I love you!! So she looked up & I waived at me. I was damn near in tears! My favorite actress in the world was less Gabbana than 10 feet away from me in the flesh! I snapped a really good photo of her. Next I went to Dolce & to see if I can spot Naomi Campbell but she was upstairs & it was invitational only :o/ It was cool b/c I got to drink a little champaign. :o] I had fun that night. To spice up FNO BCBGMaxAzria were giving out a Fashion Week survival kit which I scored 2 of them inside were O.P.I polish, make-up, Kelis's new album, energy drinks, tee's blah blah a ton of shit!

I am really enjoying living here. I miss my fam bam. I talk to them daily though all is well. Giving thanks daily also to the good Lord.

Week One.

Ok folks it has officially been one week since I have moved to NYC. In the future I will try an update every week in addition to something else a friend recommended I do. Okay so details right?

I touched down on August 24th, 2010 about noon. I had my girl scoop me from the airport since I was relocating I stuffed my suitcases which were really heavy. Normally I would have rode the subway from the airport but that was simply to much work!! The air was cool, I had on a light jacket, I know your maybe thinking damn if she thinks that is cool wait until the Winter!!! So once my girl dropped me off to my temporary place of living, I dropped all my stuff & went straight to my school. I got to school to finish up with registration, which included getting a shot in the nurses office for my immunization records, speaking with an advisor, choosing classes & attending orientation. Once I finished with that which took hours my roommate & I went out to eat. On Wednesday I signed the lease to my new apartment in Brooklyn!!! I also met a really nice lady thru my roommate, the lady is so cool!! We all went out for drinks that night to celebrate. It was amazing.

Thursday morning I woke up with a mission on my mind. To find a hairstylist which was hard at first not having any referrals or such. I simply turned to my close friend GOOGLE!! Which of course did not let me down I found a salon in Brooklyn. I had to rush there since Thursday was the 1st day of school & of course I did not want to be late. The results turned out to be amazing & so was the cost! Ha!! Real good. After getting my hair done I strutted through the streets of Brooklyn & caught the subway to class. Feeling GOOD!! :o] Once at school for the first day I was in awe at all of the damn people. Jeeeeshhh it had to have been 1/3 of NYC oh okay maybe I am exaggerating but there were a lot of folks there. I feel the 1st day of school went smooth sailing. Later Thursday night I sat on the rooftop a bomb ass apartment owned by a mutual friend of mine. Oh I forgot to mention it was located on Wall St. Whatttttt!!!!! Oh them dudes are totally about the money, yes one of them told me straight up.

On Friday & Saturday I was totally receiving my life through some shit a friend of mine pulled off. Oh I can forget to mention the first movie I seen while living in NYC was TAKERS!!!! Did you know it was number 1 opening weekend. =diddy voice= take that take that!!! Ok so later that day I hooked up with my friend that I spoke of earlier who has PULL. She finally hooked up with me, I was so happy to see her!! So we hung out at a Mexican restaurant off Broadway that shit was yummy!! Later we sipped a few watermelon martinis at the beautiful Hudson Hotel. Ok here is the winner: Saturday I attended the Rock the Bells concert on Governors Island, rode in a Bentley Flying Spur, stood right next to John Legend Estelle Busta Rhymes AJ Chris Rock & then up the stairs comes fucking Jay-Z Beyonce Mary J. Blige Alicia Keys Swizz Beats. How did I get so lucky you ask? Well that friend knows somebody that knows somebody!! I was part of Lauryn Hill's "family" that night! It was truly the flyest thing that ever happen to me. I did not act like a lunatic fan I kept my cool. My friend introduced me to Alicia Keys & she shook my hand & was like "your name is Alisha too?" then I responded "Yes but it is spelled different" she then said "Cool, I like that". I just was humbled to be in them folks presences it was truly a huge surprise!!!!!!!! Of course it motivated me a tad bit!!!

Sunday I relaxed from a shocking ass weekend! Monday was my first day at my new job. Which did not turn out to be so bad. I also went to school later. On the way home I stopped & grabbed some grub while reading over homework. Damn that feels weird to say, never thought I'd be in school again after graduation from high school. It is all g-double-o-d good though, I truly feel that I am getting it in!!! On twitter the other day I posted this "I'm gonna make my momma proud :o] " & I promise that! Today is Tuesday & the only crazy shit that happened was that I popped my damn flip flop on the sidewalk while walking to school. So I had to put my work heels back on ouuuuccchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I was dying walking with them on. :o[

Just to wrap this up, my stay here so far is treating me well. No complaints. Oh besides my shoe hehehe, I look forward to my stay here though. I wonder who my first visitor will be...

New Journey in my LIFE

In my life my dream is to become an Actress. Wether it's Theater or Films I have a passion for both, needless to say Film may be greater! As a child growing up I believe my imagination was beyond what a normal child would experience. So see that makes me different not in a bad way either. Leave it to my mom grandma & sister I have always been "so dramatic"! I first knew I wanted to act when I was in the 11th grade. My first opportunity came with Proscout. I was esatic about it!!! Preparing a monolouge for "casting directors & agencies from all over the world" was how they worded it. My choice of audition piece was Thandie Newton in the movie Crash. When she went to her husband Cameron's (Terrence Howard) job to apologize for the harsh words she used with him after being felt on improperly by a cop. I felt so damn good about that audition my mother was there to support me in Orlando 2 1/2 hrs from home. I caught the attention of a casting agency from NYC. He wanted me to come to NYC. At the age of 18 I spent 2 months in Brooklyn alone! Hustling for any acting jobs, I only landed a gig as an extra for Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants 2. The experience was great. I loved NYC I could not believe I was there. My mom also supported me with that as well. My grandmother made sure I said my prayers every night, as well as give thanks I came back to my hometown with a brand new mind set. "I wont stop until it's mine, only I can stop me." Today it's been 2 years I've been blessed to do TWO projects with the CEO/DIRECTOR/WRITER of BeDynamik Productions JanaMorea Bradley, a play called BlackWomanDynamik & an indie film Treacherous starring in BOTH! Today August 24, 2010 I have made the 2nd biggest change in my LIFE!! I am re-locating to New York City for a much better opportunity for acting. I have prayed & prayed on this asking the good Lord for the strength to do this. I feel that I wouldn't be on this plane writing this if his answer was no. I recently downloaded this song that popped up on my Pandora radio. It is called 'Why Her' by Monica. The words in the song, touched a place in my heart that is oh so sensitive. If you never heard the song I am not encouraging you to download it, you can if you'd like to see what I am coming from no big deal. I am just going to tell you a little story about me & how I related to this song.

Back a few years ago I got pregnant by my boyfriend of about 3 years. I was still in school, he was very special to me in so many ways. We were so tight we did everything together! At the time when we were together, in those moments that we spent together I thought to myself "oh me & this guy will be together for the rest of my life". Everyone knew about us it was great :) time went on & I ended up conceived by him. In the beginning of my pregnancy things were going by well. Then one night while I was at home with my oldest Sister & her friend* who's name I will keep anonymous I received some fucked up news.

We were all sitting in the house & my Sister's friend* decided to inform me that she works with a girl that my boyfriend is seeing. I will never forget the feeling that came over my body that night. Confused as HELL, never seen any signs, never been cheated on, a brand new thing to me. I was unaware of how to deal. I did not know if this bitch* was lying to me or what, jealous at the relationship me & him had. She* had known about me & my boyfriend, so if this is someone he was seeing at her* job wouldn't she* come to my defense & let the girl know he has a girlfriend, me! Also that I was pregnant?? Those were the things running thru my brain-cells.

The shit turned out to be true, I did not understand. I could not think of one reason why, questioned myself in so many ways. Cried wrote cried wrote cried wrote it was a never ending cycle for a long time. I did not need to question him, I got confirmation on my own. Why her? Was all I could say, just like the song. It was the worst experience of my life. I tried to work things out between us, he did not want to, then he tried to come back, I did not want him to. I tried to move on with my life, but I always wondered did they ever end it. Over time I understood how life isn't what I thought it would be, he had did what he did without even thinking about us. I was so in love & this happened to me. To this day it never ended. My kid has a step sibling you dig?

Their relationship was built on a lie so how long will it really last?

I took another trip back to NYC this past week, to search for an apartment & stuff. I got there on Sunday I stayed with a wonderful mutual friend of mine in Washington Heights upper west side. It was a nice area, a lot of dominicans. Respect to all of the dominicans. The area was awesome. So once I got settled in with my luggage & shit we(me & the girl I will be living with when I relocate to NYC) set out to all of our appt. we had set up which for that whole day was 6. The first apartment was in Washington Heights on W 162nd St in Manhattan. It was completely renovated, new painting, floors, wiring, appliances, bathroom, had a beautiful mantle simply smashing. It was in a brownstone, on the 5th floor accept it had no elevator. :( The rooms were an ok NYC size. Nonetheless my roommate & I thought it was very nice!

Afterwards we viewed a few more in that day, 1 in lower west side close to Central Park the rest in Brooklyn with a psychotic broker from hell!! She was insane, it was hilarious though since it was something I have never experienced. She took us to one apartment in which the layout was so wacked out, it was literally WHAT THE FUCK? Like you would have died laughing at the shit. It was like you walk into this building & you have someone living on the 1st floor then you walk up to the 2nd floor & there is A KEY TO EACH ROOM. I mean that literally, you had the kitchen behind one door there was a key to that, your living room behind one door there was a key to that, the same went for the bathroom & the one bedroom on that floor. Then up one flight of stairs you have the attic which she considered a party room/ or additional bedroom. Here is the catch: YOU COULD NOT EVEN STAND IN THE ROOM. It was horrible the ceiling was like 5 foot even. It was horrible. Me & my roommate laughed our asses off at that apartment.

My roommate who currently lives there now had to work during the week, so in the mean time I viewed a ton more of apartments & did other random shit. I also applied for a job, did some calling around & tried to set up interviews while I was there. Which was a SUCCESS! I went to the interview & got offered a position in the same day! Yae!!!! I was fucking excited. Check this: IT IS THE BLOOMBERG building! So dope. One day while viewing apts in Park Slope Brooklyn I got to sit out on Eastern Parkway which was beyond amazing the weather was great the streets were semi-busy & the sun was setting it was great.

Looking for a place in NYC was very overwhelming I should know MTA routes by heart now.

We possibly found one though so I am pleased with my trip. I believe it went well.

I go back soon for good. I'll have me own home. :) Mi familia & friends can come to visit me

as often as possible. I feel very blessed.

I hung out with my friends in FLA the other weekend, before going to NYC for a long week. We went & saw Salt, which by far is the hottest movie of the Summer to me thus far(second to Eclipse). I really enjoyed Jolie's comeback!! She did a kick ass job in that film. It was very much edge of your seat. Afterwards we hit up the bowling alley, here are a few silly random shots. On Friday July 16, 2010 at 7 pm the private screening for the film Treacherous showed.

It was truly a night to remember, it turned out to be very successful. The place had no seats left!!

My mother & friends were their to support my dreams. I was off from work that day, so I woke up & was so nervous, ran around to get some last minute things. Later I hit up Nail Gallery & let my girl Hannah hook me up :o) I love her!!

That day I had not eaten anything then next thing I know I was in Victor's make-up chair. Then I knew after make-up there was no way I could eat. After hair & make-up I headed to the meet up spot for the cast & crew. Everybody looked so stunning! It was amazing. I could have cried but it would have ruined my face.

Once we pulled up to the auditorium the parking lot was packed! I was so shocked I think I screamed. We walked in & there was a red carpet to greet us. We got called in one by one & I walked in the wrong way I was so excited I wasn't even paying attention. LMAO! We took photos with the photographer who was so sweet.

I greeted my Mom & friends, well at least the ones I saw. We all took our seats as they showed Mr. Al Pete's "Something More" video. Afterwards they showed the movie. I held my friend Kim's hand the whole time. The feedback from the audience was extraordinary!

It was so overwhelming there were times when I was not even listening to the movie instead I tuned out every noise except for the audience. It was truly a dream come true for me. When the movie ended I got so many kind words from the audience, about how good I was, how I played that part so well.

I am so happy & grateful for those who showed up for me. It means the world to me. Also for those who could not be there & sent me kind words via Facebook, text, emails I appreciate it.

Of course after the show is the after-party. I enjoyed myself so much. Just a wonderful night for me.

I once went to a juvenile detention facility for getting involved in a small brawl with my Sister against some other folks. I worry every minute of the day about his safety. That is hard just think about the sick folks in this world & I am constantly thinking praying of his safety. I can no longer put myself first, I am in charge of a whole different life now. I carried some one in my belly for 9 months, & in the end pushed him out of my coochie. Do you understand that? Of course you don't you have a penis. I make sure he is getting the proper knowledge he needs. There are so many aspects of the situation, and all you can think of is "because I have a kid". HOW FUCKING RUDE & inconsiderate of the reality of it.

It's cool though, I don't wanna be with someone as simple as your punk ass anyway. You have no clue about life, the beauty of it. Your scary because you don't make your own moves in life, explore NEW things, I would even respect you if you at least tried, or told me "look I have had some bad experiences with this kind of thing so if I seem a bit scared bare with me" or "I'm not a father so don't expect it". Dude I would appreciate that over some other bullshit.

After reading this I hope you look at that beautiful woman pushing that stroller different now. Another thing, how come because I have child I am not expected to make you wait for sex? I have been very dedicated to my job for the past 2+ years. It is a very very busy atmosphere, we have been broken in by people coming & going the staff never last. We end up shorthanded it is rough. I am the only person there full time, so I ride the wave day in & out, open to close. I am very knowledgeable with the system so a lot of my colleagues come to me for answers & support, without taking a breath to breathe I assist them, loving that I have that power. I have numbers at work that I must met, & while we were staffed well & I had other full time colleagues to help out the work place I exceeded my goals every month had beautiful numbers!! That was the norm for Alisha to have golden numbers across the board.

It used to be so much fun, BUT now I am tired, worn out. At some point this has to be all a nightmare that I will get to wake up from, at this point it has not it very much is realistic. I can not keep doing this... busting my ass & not even offered a promotion. Oh wait what is: "I can see you in that (a higher position than my current one) in about a year you just stay on that same path"? Ok I see, so keep busting my ass beyond belief without sending the work place staff who will stay in this zoo ? Keep training all the part time people that you do send by my self? Which is waist of my fucking time because they will for sure quit sooner than later? You expect me to make my numbers when there is shit to be taken care of that for some reason I am the only person who can fix it? Have I mentioned dealing with people who get angry as fuck at me? Forgetting I did not make up the policies here!!!!!!

Oh & if I meet one more lazy ass fucker I think I will just dig my own grave. Laziness at work kills me, you think you can just be lazy & I bust my ass & we have the same job title? FUCK NO! I am the most depended on person at that place. I just want to be given credit its long overdue.

I'm not throwing any shade at folks who work in life, I am just stating my opinions. They say you have to sacrifice in life to make a living & I am truly grinding. Guess I'll just continue to pray for strength & count my blessing that's how I got by thus far.

I have something very vital to take care of at the end of the month in NYC. So I will be there June 26-28! I am going with a close friend of mine, & a friend of theirs!! I am very electrified about the short trip. I haven't been since 2007, I hope to at least get to check out a few things while there. Last time I went. I was there I was there for 2 months, well this isn't the case so I should try to make a list of things to-do. I am sure that will make it easier or I could just say FUCK IT & go crazy in the city. Ahhhahahahahaha :D

Oh this time I will check out the pizza there, everyone seems to look at me like I am an alien when I say I've never had the pizza there. I can't wait to get back on that subway!! I have my new camera so I will take advantage of it while there! I will most likely go to that big ass AMC theater in Times Square. I love the movies no matter where I am at on the earth. Hell I really don't know what I will do, nonetheless I will make this trip another great memory in my beautiful life. This is so exciting & much needed. So thankful!!!

Today was a good day like Ice Cube said on his song from back in the day. Let's start from the early morning. At about 12AM this morning the movie I am in which will premiere this summer in Jacksonville FL released it's trailer, I was so overwhelmed by this I text every single person in my phone to share the great news!!!!! You may now view the trailer & the cast interviews at the top of my blog... woooooooooooooooooowhoooooooooooooo !!!! Then at 9:30AM this morning my 4 year old son graduated from Pre Kindergarden!!!!!! I was so emotional the WHOLE graduation I cried so much, it was so hard not to. I mean from the beginning to the end. I kept wiping my eyes because I did not want him to think I was hurt or anything but the tears kept flowing like nonstop. I just can not believe my baby is growing every minute of the day, Lord knows I try & enjoy every second of it. I love him so much words would never be able to express how much I really do. It means the world to me that I was able to live this day & see him graduate. He did so well during the ceremony he sung all the songs, knew all the moves, he just really blew me away with his intelligence. Time sure doesn't wait for no man.

Once you have gone through being cheated on but you decide to stay in that relationship & you suspect he is still cheating how many clues will you look for before you LEAVE?

In this post I am going to use the names Shawn as the guy & Mary as the woman. Shawn & Mary have been in a relationship for quite some time now, in love with each other & happy as ever... well at least that is how it looks from the outside. One day Shawn decides to give out his number while out grabbing something to eat, to someone woman he met. Days past by in S & M's life, she notices weird things about him now sometimes he takes his phones calls outside, or he will turn his phone off at night, even placed a password lock on his phone. He now wants to hang out with his friends more than usual.

This behavior just seems so rare to Mary, so she asks him if everything alright, trying to communicate with him & receive answers. Of course he says everything is fine I have just been wanting some time to hang out with my boys. SO Mary accepts that & moves on, with a curious mind. Weeks & months pass & she has found out Shawn is sleeping with another woman. Broken hearted Mary comes to work all down & shit fucking up the vibe in the work place & tells her co-worker what is going on, her co-worker has been through the similar bullshit with a man, therefore she totally relates. Mary is so tripped out by now.

Mary is now going through Shawn's phone records via sprint.com daily, she is asking him a million questions about his disloyalty daily, she can't function at work when he is home alone, she is eyeballing every woman he looks at while they are out in public, she is just doing the most about this whole fucked up situation.

Today at 2:30pm I got to see the first movie I've ever had an speaking role in. TREACHEROUS I have been talking about this movie all over my blog. In case your just now reading about it, it is a movie I filmed with back in Nov of 2009, we did work in like 3 weeks time, it was hard, it took the help of God, it took dedication, it took a good director & wonderful ass cast & crew to make this happen. Seeing the movie today made me feel a feeling I have never felt before. I mean that shit truly feels AMAZING first of all I sweated watching it the whole damn time I had to go home & shower, no bullshit. Second I could not believe it was me on the TV screen, I could not believe my cast mates & I looked so fucking beautiful, FLAWLESS. Every single person on that movie served up the acting in the movie. These are some GREAT PEOPLE that I was blessed to be able to work with. Only GOD will know how GREAT this feels, the movie is a must see I feel sorry for anyone who knows I am an ACTRESS but does not come to see this awesome movie BeDynamik Productions & 3:16 Productions has put together in July. Afterwards each person gave their input on the film & spoke positive words. It was a good atmosphere positive energy & all. I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT so I kodak'd that bitch!!

This weekend I got to travel down to Orlando. Spent some time with a friend of mine & I really enjoyed it. The weather was very nice we did some shopping, went out to eat, watched movies, went to see Just Wright, sipped on some liquor, just had a really good time. I bought the new superglass gloss by MAC it is BANANAS it has like small pieces of confetti in it. I got compliments on it & all this lady said "wow I can't stop looking at your lips" :D it cost me 20 damn dollars it better be poppin. I had to hit up H&M I bought a
beautiful day dress it's white with blue stripes like a cruise line I look so good in it that was only $20 damn I love H&M. I bought some barefoot Merlot it was the business especially with the meal my friend cooked. I wanted to go to the Celtics Magic game but the stupid tickets were sold out :( I got to eat at Urban Flats it was really yummy. I'm glad I was able to get away it was very much needed.

Last night for the first time ever I got to see Trey Songz perform LIVE, in my crazy ass hometown Duval County. It was such an amazing concert!! I recently moved out of my FIRST apartment on the 12th, I was so sad. I can't believe it had been a whole year. My lease was up & I have plans in the near future so I won't be signing a new one. Instead I am living with family. Anyway I am very proud that I survived a whole year in that apartment with my son, paying rent, water, the electricity, cable, buying groceries, cooking, washing, cleaning, having company over anytime I wanted, walking around w/o clothes, blasting music so loud, taking out the trash, my homies getting ready there before the club, my Christmas tree & decorations in the sunroom window, telling my son to go to his room & clean i

Since I posted something, forgive me Life is going going going. All has been well indeed nonetheless, blessings so many of them. Let's go from recent to history. I spent last Friday night & Saturday day in Orlando. It was a last moment thing with my girl P. Man I love a friend that is down to ride on spare moment occasions. I had just got off work Friday night & I had called up P like aye let's go to the club tonight & have some fun, of course she was down, then a switch went off & said "FUCK THAT GO OUT OF TOWN!!". So I called P back up & asked if she was down for a quick trip to Orlando for the night & OF COURSE she was, so we found sitters & headed to cop a rental (my car has so many miles on it as is). Speaking of the rental it was the worst customer experience of my FUCKING LIFE, that ignorant bitch makes us looks so bad, just so ghetto & unprofessional at the work place. So we got our overnight bag together really quick & hit i95 & i4. Once there we were in Firestone for FIRST FRIDAY with the goonies. Man them niggas in the O be getting buttery out the mouth with their slick ass. Shout out to the nigga who was hatin dumb hard on me & my bitch for NO REASON. Just to front for his homie. I asked that nigga what's your beacon score? Also when's the last time you visited the dentist? BOY STOOOOP! Anyhow we had a good time in Orlando.

Later Saturday night after we got back, my friend the great MAU Victor wanted to do a small shoot for his site with me so I went there & showed out for the camera while going live for USTREAM during the shoot it was fun the images are still be edited but I took these from my phone...

He does art to me, he is so amazing to me!

This past Sun I saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D the shit was ok to me, it did so well in the box office though so FUCK my opinion 113 Mil the 1st wknd WELL DAMN!!!

Also last week I started at the gym took Yoga for the 1st time, it was so refreshing, I just need to learn to inhale & exhale properly :oP

My Sister moved back to OK with her husband & newbie baby on the 1st so on the 28th of Feb me, my family & BFF all went to the ZOO, to spend time with her. We had so much fun the weather was awesome a little chilly but better than sweating bullets.

Also that weekend my homegirl B from Brooklyn came down & we partied so hard Sat 2/27/10 after going bowling!

Today I checked out Brooklyn's Finest, it was like edge of your seat juicy. Man that shit was niice! I will be checking that out again before buying it on DVD in the near future.

I have also checked out Valentine's Day twice in it's opening weekend I absolutely love that movie so much, I cannot wait for it to come out on DVD. Also Shutter Island was like okay, not my favorite AT ALL. It was like a cliff hanger to me.
